I have tutored math during high school and while I attended junior college. I was very successful in relaying strategies to remember formulas and math processes. I want to be a tutor because I had a tutor in math when I was in junior high. I struggled with math and my mom recognized it and fixed the problem. Not all kids learn the same and some need more one-on-one attention. It is important that kids receive the necessary attention they desire in order to advance their skills and abilities. I am an example of what a year of one-on-one tutoring can do to impact the rest of your life. I am now very skilled at math and enjoy helping other students in math, as well as other subjects! :)
